As an Operations Engineer**,** you will have the opportunity to grow your knowledge and skills as a member of the Cloud Operations Team for a NAVSEA cloud infrastructure program. The Cloud Ops team includes technical, security and programmatic related requirements as well as providing ongoing support to the engineering and cyber teams. You will collaborate with a skilled team of peers in support of the cloud operations of the platform. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Maintain and troubleshoot AWS and Azure compute assets, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server instances

• Monitor systems and support cyber defense activities, identifying and responding to security threats and incidents

• Assist with disaster recovery planning, training, and exercises to ensure system resilience

• Provide platform help desk support, managing open issues, new requests, and operational requirements under the Operations Lead’s direction

• Develop and maintain program documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the online knowledgebase

• Propose and help implement new tools and techniques to improve cloud operations and efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical area

• 2+ years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in engineering, cybersecurity, or operations, and 1 year working with cloud systems deployed at multiple Impact Levels (IL2, IL4, IL6) within DoD-approved Cloud Service Providers such as AWS or Azure

• An active CompTIA Security+ certification or a higher-level DoD-approved security certification is required

• Must obtain the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or any AWS Associate- or Professional-level certification within 3 months of hire

Leidos is seeking mid- to senior-level Security Control Assessors to join our SCA team. This position requires significant travel-please review the position overview below for important details. POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Security Control Assessor, you will play a key role in conducting Security Control Assessments at various government sites, with approximately 85% of your time on travel assignments. Travel may be domestic or international, depending on mission requirements, and per diem is provided to cover expenses. You'll have the flexibility to work from home when not on assignment, but must be local to one of our three locations for training and occasional customer meetings - Alexandria, VA, Fort Meade, MD, or Chambersburg, PA.

Your first few weeks will involve assessment training in a virtual classroom environment, which includes training modules, lectures, and exams. You will also gain hands-on experience by shadowing current Assessors on local assessments across the greater DC-Baltimore area (referred to as "check rides"). ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Life Cycle Management, Cisco Lifecycle Services Representative will be responsible for managing customer support Cisco renewal opportunities within assigned accounts. The LSR will consult with account teams providing strategic renewal pricing to not only execute accurate Cisco renewals but to drive revenue growth within region. In addition, the LSR will participate in the sales process as an extension of the Account Executives by building relationships with the Clients and Cisco Account Teams. This position will also be responsible for providing lifecycle support throughout the duration of the customers’ renewal cycle.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Own and execute on assigned Cisco renewal opportunities within assigned accounts

• Coordinate and collaborate with customer and internal teams to establish timelines, action items, responsibilities and associated due dates of renewal activities in a manner that results in an on-time renewal

• Work with sales to identify and present upsell opportunities within existing client base

• Position multi-year deals & co-term with other license opportunities as to increase size of deals
