Responsibilities

• Develop multiple customer relationships to drive product adoption and results to achieve full business value of the solution
• Handle the project management, scoping, and execution of technical and strategic aspects of the project, including solution configuration, user training, and usage mentoring, particularly in the sourcing use case
• Understand strategic elements of the account to ensure solutions provided are supporting customer in reaching business objectives
• Builds and demonstrates expertise on the aPriori software to enhance the value the customer is getting out of the tool, with an emphasis on how customers in the procurement space can leverage aPriori data to drive their costs down
• Awareness of aPriori software adoption and utilization trends, with a focus on driving renewals and capitalizing on expansion opportunities
• Up to 20% travel can be expected

Requirements

What you'll do:

• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to provide infrastructure and engineering services to support client success.
• Gather requirements from customers to determine their needs and discover new product surface area for joint business development opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners across their development lifecycle, identifying dependencies they may have, and shaping their roadmap. Assist in their general execution and go-to-market strategy, especially in evaluating areas of opportunity and risk.
• Assist infrastructure teams building solutions for the Orbit ecosystem. Support customer onboarding and sales by evangelizing Arbitrum technology and helping prospective and current customers navigate use of the protocol. 
• Work directly with infrastructure (RPC providers, Bridges, Wallets, SDK teams, etc.) and application teams across the ecosystem to prioritize development of services and tooling that benefit Orbit chains and Arbitrum apps, pushing for development areas that are identified as a result of client feedback.
• Act as the primary contact for partner teams during their integration and deployment efforts. Work with our engineering team to resolve partner inquiries, address technical challenges, and provide timely support to ensure a seamless integration experience.

What you’ll need:

• 3-5 years of experience as a PM or adjacent technical role.
• Strong client management skills, relevant experience supporting partners towards success.
• A curious inidual with a strong passion for and understanding of blockchain technologies, ideally an active user of on-chain applications with an understanding of ecosystem trends.
• You have demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, as a consultant in a technology-related field, or relevant experience.

What are the role responsibilities?

• Drive the scaling roadmap: Own and deliver the vertical scaling roadmap (6-18 months+), working with OP Labs and Optimism Collective engineering teams and L1 core developers. This will require deeply understanding cutting edge research from Ethereum and other ecosystems, and bringing actionable plans to drive scaling forward.

• Champion the customer(s): Engage with chain operators and RaaS team, RPC providers, explorers and indexers, and proof teams to understand their performance challenges and tradeoffs and represent their needs in the scaling roadmap.

• Tell the scaling story: Work with the growth and marketing teams to to communicate OP Stack scalability story through dashboards, blog posts, talks, and ecosystem updates.

• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with engineering, data, growth, DevRel and other product teams to identify opportunities and quickly ship impactful scaling initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of product and engineering experience: You have at least 5 years of technical product management experience (e.g. onchain protocol, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, etc.) or at least 3 years of product experience with 2 years of engineering experience. Background with blockchains or distributed systems preferred.

• Deep technical expertise: You have the ability to e deep into the technical designs, evaluate trade-offs, and align engineering on solutions that address complex problems. Experience as a software engineer is strongly preferred, but a demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical teams and understand complex systems is essential

• Excellent communication skills: You can clearly communicate complex concepts to erse audiences, conveying critical points and takeaways succinctly.

What’s Exciting About This Opportunity

Paperbell is growing quickly and shipping fast — we typically deploy 4–10 times per week. Our Product Owner will play a central role in making sure we’re always building the right things, in the right way, at the right pace.

We’re a very small, efficient team: you’ll work directly with our two founders, one full-time Rails dev, and a part-time designer.

We don’t do meetings. Communication is async and to the point. No daily standups, no recurring check-ins, no one reading slides aloud. Our dev and designer post short written status updates when they work, and you keep the ball rolling from there.

This is not a “ticket pusher” role. You’ll decide what gets built, scope features, oversee dev and design, test everything that ships, and make sure our product direction is sharp and focused. You’ll have a big influence on the future of Paperbell.

Paperbell is a SaaS tool that powers online coaching businesses. (Think the kind of coaches who help you upgrade your life, not your tennis swing!)

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

• Figure out what to build next: Gather input from customer feedback, CS, competition, and production data. Turn it into smart, high-impact product decisions.

• Define and scope features: Work with design to nail down specs, cut scope if needed, and keep features lean so we ship quickly.

• Prioritise the work - balance big new features with quick quality of life wins and bugs.

• Oversee development: Ensure dev and design progress smoothly, adjust requirements if something is taking too long, answer questions, and triage bugs.

• Test and review: Make sure features match the spec and design, confirm nothing else is broken, and do light QA before deploy.

• Keep things flowing: Make sure dev and design always have the right work lined up and are unblocked.

About You (Core)

• You’ve project managed a Saas type product before. You feel comfortable discussing things like tech debt with a developer.

• You’re comfortable with git and GitHub: creating/managing issues, reading PRs, leaving useful comments.

• You can sanity check bugs by replicating with STRs and prioritising them appropriately.

• You’re pragmatic: you know when to cut scope, when “good enough” is enough, and how to keep features lean without sacrificing value.

• You’re organized and proactive: dev and design always have work lined up, and blockers get solved fast.

• You don’t mind doing light QA — confirming features work as expected and match design.

• You thrive without meetings: async status updates and clear written comms are your default.

Bonus (Not required, but great if you can)

• You can check out a Rails project from the repo and get it up and running locally with a minimum of help.

• You’re strong at deeper data analysis with SQL or Rails console.
