As you can imagine, building & maintaining a sensible Roadmap for the Relocator App is a challenging process and one that requires a high degree of skill. As the Senior Product Manager in charge of the Relocator App, you’ll have responsibility for our main product and ultimately be responsible for ensuring our Customer Satisfaction is continually improving over time. As a commercially proven Senior Product Manager, you will be very confident and up to speed with technology and dealing with technology/development teams. You genuinely enjoy the energy and pace of start ups/scale ups.

More specifically, you be responsible for:

• Product Roadmap - you’ll be in charge of creating, iterating and executing our product roadmap for the Relocator App
• Product collaboration - you’ll be responsible for ensuring that your team gathers sufficient insight both internally (Ops, Content, Tech, Partnerships) & externally (customers, clients) to feed into the product roadmap development
• Product discovery - you'll be in charge of working with relocators, relocation coaches and sales to understand which problems to solve next
• Working backwards - you’ll ultimately be in charge of building the platform that’s currently helping thousands of people relocate and will be helping hundreds of thousands over the next few years. You’ll be an advocate for relocators and ensuring a strong focus on solving their pain points
• Communication - you’ll be in charge of communicating the Roadmap across the organisation

What does  the Blockchain Research Team do? The Research team is a sub-team of our core engineering team that is responsible for leading efforts to optimize, scale and streamline our implementations. Own and improve a collaborative product development process to ensure fast, successful execution of strategic initiatives and continuous wins for customers. 

• Works closely with CEO and VP Engineering to manage high-level roadmap and prioritization of all product initiatives

• Works closely with our customer experience and other business stakeholders to synthesize and prioritize incoming requests, then turns it into work that’s ready for engineering and design.

• Works closely with designers to build new features and improve existing ones. Knows what good UX / UI looks like and is a key thought partner throughout the design process.

• Facilitates cross-functional team meetings with business stakeholders and designers. Continuously provides visibility into status of projects and overall roadmap.

• Triage incoming tickets, determine who the right engineering stakeholder is and whether or not the issue is enough of a priority to bring into the current sprint.

• Ensures sprints are organized and efficient. Extracts all required information from engineering / business / design before work gets planned. Quickly responds to questions from engineering throughout sprints and QA cycles.

• Manage release cycles for mobile apps.

• Strong analyst who understands the levers that drive our business. Builds dashboards to track core conversion funnels and the impact of recently shipped features. Plans work based on those insights.

• First-principles problem solver. Go above and beyond to turn analytic insights, ideas and customer feedback into wins for customers and the business. You don’t just solve the problem in front of you, but you look for broader themes within the context of our systems to deliver step function improvements.

• Strong communicator and facilitator. Synthesizes incoming requests from team members and customers. Team should look to you as a person who can help them get things done. Very comfortable facilitating team meetings and proactively identifies and eliminates information silos.

• 4+ years of experience in product management roles, including 1-2 years experience working on a consumer, e-commerce, or marketplace product

• Experience with modern analytics / BI tools (SQL, Amplitude, Firebase, Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc)

• Experience working closely with product designers and comfortable in modern design tools (Figma)

• Experience optimizing engineering processes, including Jira performance insights.

Reporting directly into the Vice President of Product, we’re seeking a Lead Product Manager to influence and drive our data strategy, enabling growth and scalability for our data-driven business. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, as well as the organization as a whole, to define the needs and enable our data platform to help The Zebra continue to scale.  As the founding member of our data product team, you’ll need to gain an understanding of our business to build out strategy and associated tactics, creating detailed product requirements for engineering and collaborating closely with them during road mapping, prioritization, and development.

You demonstrate and embody the foundational skills of a data-centric product leader and practice active discussion, collaboration and proactive communication, instilling these characteristics in your team to build strong partnerships with Data, Product, Engineering, Marketing and other departments across the company. While we are open to remote work across the contingent US, we are still in the process of establishing our company to support work in all states! We’ve recently made the shift from an in-office organization to a hybrid model and love the flexibility it allows our employees. • Build consensus with business, data engineering and product partners to establish a data strategy that supports continued growth and scalability for the business
• Be outcomes-focused to ensure we're always solving the most important problem
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to break-down the strategy and business needs into inidual tactics, prioritized based on impact and business value, always striving to increase agility and consistently deliver value
• Create detailed product requirements for engineering and collaborate closely with them during roadmapping, prioritization, and development

• Understand and empathize with data engineering pain points and translate them into scalable solutions
• Define, analyze and report KPIs that inform the success of internal and external data products (both problem areas & opportunities)
• Be the decision maker on final prioritization and own the data roadmap
• Data Product Evangelism: Represent the business and promote The Zebra as a data-driven company by advocating for data’s value and benefits at executive briefings, events, and so forth.

As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for folks who have a strong sense of ownership, great communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

• 6+ years (or equivalent) experience in product management and/or related fields in the context of data management and development
• Communication Skills: You are able to communicate across many different teams, soliciting requirements both internally and externally. Ability to both clearly communicate with the technical teams and present at the executive level.
• Analytical Skills: You can translate internal and external data needs into clear data requirements and success metrics, and coach product managers on the team to do the same
• Leadership: You have the ability to partner with other departmental leaders, represent your team across the company, and mentor and lead a team of product managers.
• People Skills: Team player! You are highly collaborative and comfortable dealing with many stakeholders. Proven ability leading product teams that partner effectively with engineering and partner teams.
