Responsible for both quality assurance and quality control. Ensure quality in all project activities and deliverables. Be responsible for both automation and manual testing activities in a hands-on capacity with opportunity to perform active test leadership responsibilities as needed. Focus on defect prevention and continuous improvement. Create an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities to ensure that objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. Test for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other legacy and/or external systems.
Ensure our project deliverables are of the highest quality. Share ideas and tools that can make our people, processes, and systems better. Ensure our technology is “fit for purpose” and “right the first time” to provide a positive experience to our business partners and policyholders, effectively making us more approachable and touching more lives.
Guide and mentor less senior members of the QA team on test design, execution, and methodologies.
What you do
- Design and develop automation scripts and framework
- Design and write comprehensive test cases and participate in manual functional and exploratory testing
- Build, maintain, advance, and architect automated test infrastructure and automation test harnesses for various products and projects
- Develop and drive automation and manual test planning, cases, and strategy across several functional teams, to both ensure product quality and to contribute to Continuous Integration and Delivery efforts
- Establish processes and tool sets to develop and maintain automation scripts
- Evaluate the latest testing and technology tools and perform proof of concept to advance our automation practice

What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 4+ years related experience with quality assurance methodology, tools in automation, manual testing, and defect management required
- Strong object-oriented design and coding skills including experience developing automation in at least one OO language (Java, C#/C++) required
- Coding experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, TestNG/Junit, Maven), tools (IntelliJ), services, and physical devices required
- Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development, creation and reporting of test metrics required
- Knowledge of software test engineering best practices across the life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes and testing desired
- Practical knowledge and experience in distributed architectures, web service APIs (e.g. HTTP, REST, SOAP), microservices desired

What will you be doing?

This position will assist with and lead the overall successful delivery of various application and network vulnerability assessments, continuous internal / external penetration assessments and other types of security strategy and architecture reviews.

What you’ll need
- 3+ years of autotests experience (preferred JS or Python frameworks)
- 2+ years experience in manual (exploratory) testing, experience in applying various test design techniques, ability to create vision and strategy regarding quality for team components

Under the direction and guidance of the Test Engineer III & Quality Assurance Manager, the Test Engineer II will work with the Solution Architect and the Cloud Architect to assist with coordinating, implementing, and supporting the overall test automation framework for the PropLogix enterprise. The Test Engineer II will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test suites as systems grow and change. This role will also work with Project Managers/Scrum Masters, Solution Architects, and other project team members to meet project objectives.
This position requires a solid working knowledge of system testing patterns and practices. This positions will routinely produce high-quality work products in all but the most complex or exceptional situations. A Test Engineer II will typically be able to assess and determine the best course of action to take in a given situation and understand how and when to apply standards and guidelines. We're looking for someone proficient and experienced in various test automation technologies; they can present and effectively communicate to all competency levels the importance of best practice methods and the benefits of using them. They also support implementing these practices and patterns within the enterprise and can assist with mentoring more junior QAs in learning and understanding automation from a tactical perspective.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time remote position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., EST. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

ABOUT THE JOB:As footwear production and quality manager you will be responsible for managing the production timelines across all business channels, controlling costs and margin. Assessing manufacturers accuracy, speed to market and communicating Alohas needs to deliver outstanding products which will excite the customer and drive business growth.
The Production and Quality Manager will be reporting directly to the COO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Constantly review sources with regards to performance, and develop new sources as needed and in accordance with global market trends. Proactively assess risk and opportunities, and make changes as needed.
- Responsible for management of production coordinator; including monitoring performance, training, providing motivation, and constructive feedback.
- Oversee the time & action approval process to anticipate and potential quality or delivery concerns
- Create opportunities with Design and Product Development to engineer product cost while ensuring quality and maintaining design intent. Provide the team with all cost targets and aligned on seasonal cost and allocation strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Design, Supply Chain Management and Product Development to lead brand growth strategies.
- Manage internal teams’ calendar to ensure all deadlines and key deliverables are met.
- Create the production calendar and support the milestone calendar creation and updates.
- Responsible for overseeing production schedules and making sure PO’s are meeting ex-factory dates.
- Mentor, coach and develop a career path for direct reports.
- Responsible for overseeing the shipping, import of goods with third party vendors.
- Validate footwear quality issues when identified, working with account managers, design and Quality Assurance Inspectors.
- Identify and investigate quality issues with product development and make recommendations regarding resolutions to the issues.
- Update Quality Issue Resolution (QIR) tracker regarding validity of quality claim, remediation, and resolution in a timely manner.
- Validate claims and work with stakeholders, regarding the remediation of product claims with validated quality issues.
- Lead quality review meetings and publish reports with the brands on a predetermined cadence to ensure information is shared; quality issues are addressed and resolved as quickly as possible.
- Plan teams’ capacity and identify opportunities for processes ‘improvement and additional resources
- Reporting as needed: Production progress, delivery status, cost analysis and vendor assessments, quality audits, quality indicators
- Establish and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) to ensure full visibility and pulse on evolving business needs.
- Establish and maintain monthly KPI reviews with all vendors.
- Ensure vendors adhere to contractual SLA obligations and hold accountable where shortfalls exist.
- Work with 3PL’s and Carriers to ensure customer orders depart with enough lead-time to deliver on time & in full.
- Monitor 3PL and Carrier performance and resolve/improve where necessary.
- Communicate internally to ensure Customers are aware of any shortages or delays.
- Ensure 3PL’s comply with all necessary requirements for order pack-out and kit builds.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 8 + years minimum experience in Footwear production or manufacturing
- An understanding of footwear construction as well as technical knowledge of production is a must
- Excellent understanding of the footwear product life cycle
- Experience with sourcing footwear both through agents and direct-to-factory

For the frontend we use React and Ember. On the backend we use Go, PostgreSQL and Redis to serve RESTful and gRPC APIs running on Kubernetes, all hosted on GCP. We use GitHub for version control and CI, Jira for tracking tasks and Slack for sending silly GIFs.
< class="h3">Responsibilities- Creating testing frameworks and maintaining them for our web, extension and browser products
- Being involved in the planning and refinement sessions to fully understand the requirements that will be tested
- Identifying the best testing frameworks and tools for the job on different platforms
- Helping the engineering team define a testing strategy that uses the right blend of automate and manual testing
- Prepare test plans and scenarios for new features alongside the engineering team
- Be involved in the development of new features from conception to delivery, ensuring that quality is considered from end to end
- Through your work, raise the quality of all our products
- Evangelise the value of test automaton to everyone in the business
- Working with the team to pragmatically decide when to ship and when to push a feature back for improvement
Requirements
This is the right opportunity for you if you have:
- 3+ years commercial experience working in a testing role within software engineering teams
- Experience using test automation tools on websites - especially Single Page Applications
- Experience working with and testing REST APIs
- Experience using some flavour of SQL for examining and tweaking test data
- Experience using version control systems, specifically Git
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Live and work within +/- 3 hours of GMT
