What's the Job

The Product Manager's main role is to own and execute early stage Product Development bringing the product vision and roadmap to life. 

• Work closely with Creative, Product, Design, and Technical leadership to build high-quality products that will resonate with the target audience

• Define and execute the product roadmap for your domain, in alignment with the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Develop familiarity with Web3 security, vulnerability disclosure, bug bounties, hacker community and culture, vulnerability management, and other domain areas
• Understand the competitive landscape to identify market trends, key underserved customer needs, and new opportunities
• Collaborate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to discover, organize, and prioritize prospective new capabilities and solutions for your product domain
• Drive product improvements through iterative design and experimentation; gather data to build a strong understanding of the user, their pain points and the solutions that will lead to a better user experience
• Work with engineers and designers to deliver a high-quality product experience that users love
• Actively engage with Account Management and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption

The Role Logistics

This is a 100% remote position with flexible hours (some overlap with east coast hours is needed). 

This role involves more than just management of clients and their projects. It involves many aspects of tech consulting, web design/development consulting, and IT troubleshooting/consulting while working with a large variety of clients. This role calls for a self-starter to take projects from inception to completion while instilling complete trust in the client.

• Planning and managing web design and development projects; all while communicating with clients

• Fully own your Product Area for a rapidly growing start-up with exceptional market timing

• Delivery of the foundations of a new Bookings platform. You will drive the team to create  an industry leading platform that will enable Pollen to scale and achieve its ambitious goals, by delivering a new Bookings platform that provides trusted and accurate data that drives the entire fulfilment engine.
• Be the advocate for Bookings in the Pollen wide product strategy Working closely with your key stakeholders, you will form a cross-functional team that will define and drive the strategy for Bookings across Pollen. You will be the advocate for all things Bookings in the product team, promoting opportunities for further optimisation and automation of how we manage bookings.
• Deliver meaningful incremental solutions to two Bookings challenges in the first 6 months.  Working with your bookings stakeholders, identify, define and start to deliver meaningful outcomes for two barriers to us automating and scaling our booking processes.  Likely candidates would be:
  • Ability to edit existing reservations - reduce the operation costs for the Customer support teams, who currently spend 3x more time on these requests than any other.
  • Automate notifications to customers when somebody from their booking has dropped out and the need to be replaced - reducing the overheads to Pollen who have to cover the loss if nobody fills the room.
• Develop a framework for success.  Working with your data partner(s) develop a framework for measuring the success of your product and feature set.  Success here would be having relevant, consumable data to inform whether your product is meeting our customers needs (both internal and external) and providing us with the insight to act accordingly.

A new era has begun in private equity - with leading players increasingly looking to broaden their investor base to include smaller investors and reduce dependency on large, demanding and sometimes competing institutional LPs. What is the role?

We're looking for a demonstrated product leader with experience building market-leading products, recruiting, developing and hiring a product team, and creating a product-first culture within a growing start-up. In this role you'd take ownership of the delivery of our product roadmap, reporting into our CPO, as we scale and build a world-class product organisation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Head of Product or Lead PM role with a high growth B2B tech company, ideally having taken a vision from infancy to development
• A track record of sculpting and delivering strategic improvements to a product to exceed customers expectations - we'll expect you to demonstrate multiple complete product cycles from inception to success, showing the material impact to business outcomes
• Excellent presentation skills, able to inspire and motivate attendees at internal and external events; and the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders internally
• Ability to reach and coach product management skills, having previously nurtured iniduals to success in previous roles, and previous experience hiring and building a high-calibre team
• Ability to prioritise effectively, with excellent time management and organisational skills
• Experience working closely with development teams to build great products

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to be an advocate for our users. This role is for someone who’s diligent and doesn't let things fall through the cracks. As Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of parts the product, and you’ll ensure a smooth flow of deliverables between our design and development teams. You’ll own functionalities from inception to launch; distill product requirements from discussions with the founders and other stakeholders; and be expected to digest incoming usage data, draw conclusions from it, and present it back to the company.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a cross-functional team from the conception of new features to launch.
• Be the end-to-end owner of the product or aspects of the product: define the customer experience, identify value propositions, and build out the requirements.
• Turn high-level project objectives into a comprehensive set of technical requirements.

About the Team & Role  

Focusing on the “why” of the product, the Product and User Experience team is responsible for translating the product and strategy into action and owning the product roadmap across our portfolio. • Own our product expansion to new geographies
