As a Virtual Teacher, you will deliver exceptional academic support through our student support model that provides student-centered monitoring, coaching, mentoring, and teaching. Your teaching experience in your specific subject area, along with your proficiency in technology will support your success in this dynamic role. As a Virtual Teacher you are responsible for assisting students academically with concept comprehension synchronously and/or asynchronously via live chat, phone, email, and virtual conferencing technology. You will be grading student assignments and communicating with parents, school administration and clients to ensure student success. 

Position Type: We hire regularly both full-time and part-time Virtual Teachers.

Schedule: Our Virtual Teachers work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time, with the opportunity to work year-round.

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $20.50 and $21.63 per hour, or $44,948 and 45,760 annually. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on inidual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, inidual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 0.5 FTE pharmacist to join our team. This ambulatory pharmacist will work in Family Medicine clinics to manage chronic disease states. They will also work with other Primary Care Clinics across the health system to remotely monitor patients for disease states such as hypertension. They will work two to three days per week with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide care for patients both in person and remotely. This position would also have the option to complete remote shifts from home as eligible. The pharmacist will manage patients independently under a Collaborative Practice to reach treatment goals. Collaborative Practices could include but are not limited to, Anticoagulation, Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Deprescribing, and Immunizations. Responsibilities will include reviewing clinical data, making medication adjustments, providing recommendations, and education for disease state management. The pharmacist also serves as a role-model/practitioner-educator for Doctor of Pharmacy students and pharmacy residents and carries out clinical practice responsibilities for the Department of Pharmaceutical Care.

Patient Care - Participate in the provision of pharmaceutical care in select clinics

HPR Jazz Dance Adjunct

Position Overview 

This position will instruct jazz dance course on campus as a part of elective offerings. The position includes responsibilities such as course implementation and assessment and active collaboration with colleagues within the Math and Sciences Division.

Independence Community College (ICC) is a two-year educational institution accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.  It was established in 1925 as grades 13 and 14 of the Independence public school system.  In 1967, Independence Community College legally separated from the school district.  Construction of the new community college on a 68 acre campus, formerly the Independence Country Club, began in 1969. This role supports multiple virtual, live instruction service offerings within Edmentum’s Instructional Services organization. In all cases, learning is built on a foundation of award-winning digital curricula aligned to state standards.

Flexible Virtual Learning - In this learning environment, students are assigned an Edmentum course via their local school, and they complete the work largely on their own time. Grading, messaging, and live help and overview sessions are provided by an Edmentum Virtual Teacher.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver fee-based, engaging, small and large group presentations, both in-person and _virtual_ly, centered on district/school teaching and learning recommendations while modeling instructional best practices.
