About the compensation and work requirements

The salary range for this position is $92,050 - $111,900 - the range is broad, but it is commensurate with experience, aligned with current members of our team with similar experience, and may shift a bit depending on your geographic location. This is a 100% remote role, but you must live and be able to work in the US or Canada.

• Developing and supporting a wide variety of custom WordPress sites.

About the compensation and work requirements

This is a full-time position. The starting salary for this role will fall within the range of $66,100.00 - $81,439.00 - the range is broad, but it is commensurate with experience, aligned with current members of our team with similar experience, and may shift a bit depending on your geographic location. This is a 100% remote role, but you must live and be able to work in the US or Canada.

• 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience, including custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg block development (ACF).
• Strong understanding of modern WordPress architecture (CPTs, REST API, taxonomies, hooks/filters) and Full Site Editing (FSE) concepts, including block patterns, templates, and theme.json configuration.
• Proficient with React for Gutenberg blocks; experience with Next.js or headless WordPress implementations is a plus.
• Awareness of performance, security, accessibility (WCAG 2.2), SEO, and basic server administration best practices.

As the Lead Kamino Market Infrastructure Software Engineer, you’ll be a force behind the software infrastructure powering efficient DeFi markets. You’ll not only develop and maintain critical systems, but also play a key role in shaping the future of Solana financial markets through your code.

Our current infrastructure already monitors and operates our Kamino and Morpho vaults across chains(#1 DeFi curator with >$1.5B TVL). We are looking for top talent to build the most robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure for vault curation as we expand with best in class partners on Solana.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and own the Python market infrastructure stack for Kamino
• Develop a reallocation engine that consumes real-time on-chain and off-chain data to drive automated capital allocations making our Kamino vaults the most efficients
• Build reliable automated transaction and instruction pipelines to interact efficiently with Solana programs
• Identify data points to enhance risk monitoring and implement real-time mitigation logic directly into the infrastructure
• Create reporting tooling to support both operators and user-facing interfaces.
• Implement rigorous testing, monitoring, and security practices to ensure the reliability, performance, and resilience of the developed software tools and platforms against potential vulnerabilities and exploits

Our Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone with:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python including architecture, type system, testing and production lifecycle management
• 2+ years of experience developing and interacting with Solana programs
• Proven experience building production-grade applications and infrastructure in Python and/or TypeScript that operate on top of Solana programs
• Deep understanding of the Solana transaction and instruction lifecycle, with the ability to design systems optimized for performance and reliability
• Ability to write Rust programs is a plus.
• Active tracking of the Solana DeFi ecosystem, including new protocols, infrastructure improvements, and evolving usage patterns
• Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset, you are a self-starter, driven, and love building
• Familiarity with economic modeling, financial mathematics, or quantitative analysis in the context of decentralized finance.

An overview of this role

As an Intermediate Fullstack Engineer, Fulfillment: Seat Management at GitLab, you will help customers optimize their GitLab investment through intuitive seat assignment, proactive cost management, and seamless user provisioning. 

You will work at the intersection of product, billing, and infrastructure to build and maintain the systems that manage seat allocation, connect customer subscriptions to enterprise identity systems, and surface accurate entitlement and utilization data to internal teams. 

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend features and services in Ruby on Rails within the customers.gitlab.com application, integrating with internal and third-party REST services.

• Design and extend GraphQL schemas and APIs that securely deliver seat assignments and subscription entitlements to GitLab.com, GitLab Dedicated, and self-managed instances.

• Implement and iterate on frontend experiences using Vue.js, Webpacker, and SCSS to deliver clear, reliable interfaces for applying and managing licenses and other purchased entitlements.

• Use error tracking and monitoring tools such as Sentry and Grafana to triage, document, and resolve issues across Salesforce, Zuora, and GitLab integrations that impact seat provisioning.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, other Fulfillment teams, and partner application teams to clarify requirements, refine solutions, and ship high-quality features that meet compliance needs.

• Drive the design and evolution of our seat management and cost control systems to scale with GitLab's product catalog and customer base, ensuring robust performance, reliability, and test coverage as we expand from manual seat assignment to proactive cost management.

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain engineering best practices across the Fulfillment codebase.

• Support our remote, asynchronous ways of working by documenting decisions and runbooks, sharing context on operational issues, and participating in on-call or incident response as needed.

What you'll bring

• Professional experience developing with Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript, ideally with Vue.js, demonstrating proficiency in fullstack engineering.

• Strong expertise in Git and source control systems, with a solid understanding of feature development and deployment workflows.

• Experience integrating with external REST services and designing or consuming GraphQL schemas in a production environment.

• Familiarity working with error tracking and monitoring tools (for example Sentry or Grafana) and using them to identify, debug, and resolve production issues.

• Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and a solid understanding of building secure, scalable, and performant web applications.
